About Tonya

 

Tonya is a Senior Manager with Rodefer Moss Consulting, LLC, a valuation and forensic services firm affiliated with one of Tennessee’s largest accounting and consulting firms, Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC.

 

She has over 15 years of diversified accounting experience in both private and public accounting serving clients in several industries including: banking, entertainment, insurance, construction, manufacturing, real estate, investment firms, service providers, governments, wholesale and retail trades.

 

Tonya has experience in valuations of closely held companies, limited partnership interests and other intangible assets, forensic accounting, and general litigation support. She also has experience in conducting detailed investigations of suspected fraud and providing fraud prevention services. She has completed extensive continuing professional education programs in business and intangible asset valuations, forensic accounting and litigation support offered by various professional groups, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

 

Tonya is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Tennessee. She is also Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics by the AICPA, and has earned the designation of Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

 

She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a BBA in accounting and The University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Master’s of Accountancy (MACC). She continues her education through ongoing professional education programs in the areas of tax, audit, business valuation, and fraud and investigative accounting.
